Esperando a Zufan!

About Us

This “About Us” is in desperate need of an update! Zufan is 2 years old, happy and growing, and the other kids, now ages 9 and 5, are doing great. I can’t believe I started this blog almost 3 years ago. There is lots going on and I’ll add some more details soon. For now, this is me, running my 3rd marathon last summer. I did my 4th a couple of months after that one and missed qualifying for Boston by 3 minutes. So this year, I’m hoping to get a tiny bit faster. :) (04/20/09)

I just found your blog after seeing it in my stats on my blog Nappturology 101 as a referral source. I’m glad you find it helpful enough to list it in your blogroll. Good luck with your adoption, and if I can help you in the hair care arena in anyway shape or form please let me know.

    Take care,

Hi! I feel the biggest rush of adrenaline after reading the last 2 or 3 pages of your blog! How in the world did you manage to get ALL of that done in such a short span of time? I admire you greatly. And Zufan is cute as a button! Wait…all of your kids are cute as buttons!!
Best of luck in the future. I’ll be checking your site for updates. I feel like I’ve been there the whole time. GREAT BLOG!

Hello there. i was just wondering have u tried looking for your new daughter’s relatives that live around your area. It may be a good idea so that she keeps her culture and her language. You could also try taking her to Amharic school and let her learn about her culture and language, its best if she starts at a young age but other than that keep up the good work.

Thanks for your extraordinary review of my book, CUTTING FOR STONE–two different people sent me the review and link. I am even more admiring of what you and your husband do for Ethiopia and Zufran, than I am for what you wrote re my book!

    All best to you,
    Abraham
